Memory

I read somewhere that children have a short memory (that's why we can distract them by something else when they are having a tantrum). But Mimi seems to have a quite good memory, longer memory than I expected (and much longer than her poor mommy). This morning, hubby was tired so he still lied on bed in our room while I was entertaining Mimi in her room. Mimi, as usual, asked for her daddy. I replied that daddy is in the bedroom. She thought for a while and then asked "om?" ("sick?") I was surprised. But then I remembered that few weeks ago, when Linh was sicked and had to lie on bed, I told Mimi that her daddy was "om". She remembered it and used it in the right situation!
